Decided to rack up a Persian inspired feast (minus the brownies) just before the Easter weekend. As per usual, my dishes are family style and designed for sharing. For those who know me, I don't take shortcuts, with everything sourced fresh from various sources, local and organic where possible (NB: meats I buy imported though and vegetables I source organic and seasonal). All dishes are made from scratch on the day, nothing canned. Minimalism is my style and I prefer to let the ingredients speak for themselves (hence need to procure from the best sources).
There is no corkage, so feel free to BYO. There is also wine available to be purchased at the private kitchen.
Tentative Menu is as follows:
Welcome drink (Spanish Cava)
Hummus with minced lamb and pine nuts
Kale, tangerine and pomegranate citrus salad with maple-roasted hazelnuts
Roasted pumpkin with red onions and zaatar
Chargrilled octopus from Spain with arugula
Persian Spiced Spanish Duroc pork collar
Ras el hanout chicken wraps
Spiced rack of lamb with pomegranate sauce
Sumac roasted chicken served with roasted balsamic roasted rainbow carrots
Middle eastern spiced couscous with barberries and raisins
Double choc home baked Ghirardelli brownies
