I have devised a mediterranean type of supper club for you all on 1st July (yes - handover day! ~ if that is worth celebrating at all). Time to get together again, meet new friends, and feast over a rustic home-cooked healthy meal made from scratch with the freshest ingredients possible. I source organic and local where possible, and my meats are imported from US, Australian, and Japan (Hokkaido specifically for the humungous scallops).
Expect a family style sort of arrangement with no artificial ingredients or the processed type of stuff we too often witness in Hong Kong. Please BYO (no corkage) to help ease the mood and get the conversation going.
Furthermore, my girlfriend Isa from law school, who is a lawyer turned nutrition coach, will share some insights on what constitutes healthy eating. She hopes to inspire and educate more people on health and how to attain that 6 pack of hers!
Here is the (tentative) menu:
Organic kale and quinoa salad with lemon vinaigrette
Spinach and smoked salmon salad with lemon-dill dressing
Grilled haloumi with organic mixed cherry tomato basil salad
Mediterranean grilled chicken with greek dill yoghurt sauce dip
Miso-glazed scallops with coriander and a touch of lemon zest
Seared tiger prawns with garlic, red chilli and lemongrass
Seafood bouillabaise. Serve with crusty baguette.
Grilled Australian award-winning Black Angus bavette steak with Uruguayan chimichurri
Dessert: Home-made sticky date pudding (tentative)
